THE FACES BEHIND STUDIO LOFT

Hi from Leoni and Dane, the owners of Studio Loft. We were neighbours, who became good friends and now, good friends who became business partners.

We both identified a gap for more creative spaces in Newcastle city centre and the surrounding areas, noting that Newcastle often gets left behind to the other major cities and we chatted about opening our own space in town.

We both had a shared passion and vision and waited for the right time to take the next step…

Empire Studios is purchased by Dane & Leoni - Studio Loft is born!

Leoni is an all round creative, also running a brand & web design business, D’Arcy Design Co., having studied Graphic Design at Northumbria. When she’s not designing, you’ll find her in the gym, as an avid CrossFitter. Leoni noticed a real lack of networking, workspaces and content spaces in Newcastle and dreamt of bringing together more creatives to combat the loneliness of working for yourself.

Dane is a self proclaimed fitness enthusiast, having competed in strongman competitions for the past 5 years. His professional background is in Business Development and Account Management as well as holding a Bachelor of Arts in Media Design. He holds a strong desire to bring unique creative opportunities to students and other creative outlets who may not know where to start.

I’m Juliette, a Fashion Stylist and Creative Director. I graduated from university in 2017 with a degree in Fashion Design, Styling and Image Making.

I have extensive experience in fashion styling and direction for e-commerce shoots, creative and campaign imagery as well as content shoots for social media. I have worked with brands such as Pretty Little Thing, Rebellious, Missy Empire, Markus Lupfer, EttieShop and Mark Hill, styled celebrities including Gemma Collins and Georgia Harrison and directed and been head of styling at both New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.
